![]() So you've done some training, done some studying and your ready to start your KSP career. Career mode will not hold your hand! It will chuck you into the deep end assuming you know how to play so playing through the first few tutorials is absolutely vital! It shows you stuff from basic building to flying, stuff you should know before embarking on career. Is your text too small or being squashed? You can scale it up!īefore you embark on your career you should really do the first 2 or 3 in game tutorials. If you have any further questions about controls feel free to ask! Study them! The control layout in Kerbal is a mess, I know, there are things I hope they change (for example LB and RB switching planets in Map Mode when LB and RB are the modifier buttons which have to be used constantly). (apologies, I couldn't find a Google Doc) So I thought I would make life easier for anyone who's looking for a bit of help in getting their career started by sharing the little knowledge I have of the game so far! Great, sounds perfect except like in true KSP fashion it does very little to explain to new comers what it is you have to do to progress. I thought the best solution would be to play career, you have to progress and unlock stuff as you go along which gives you time to familiarise yourself and build up towards the bigger, cooler stuff later on and not be overwhelmed by the 100's of parts you find in Sandbox. (Please keep in mind this was my first encounter ever with the game, never even seen videos of it until then). I, like many of you got the game this past week (Thursday 28th to be exact) and asoon as I started it up I was quite frankly lost. Do you want to be the next Neil Armstrong? Well you can't because this is not a cloning Facility.
